WE HAD A BLAST IN MICHIGAN!!

Michigan HERE WE COME!!!

Well we are leaving tommorrow for Michigan and I can't wait to see all the family! Praying for a safe drive and good weather! I have never driven this far before so my nerves are getting the best of me!!

Mommy's getting older!!

Well today I turn 26...... not sure to be happy or sad! 30 keeps getting closer and closer!!!! AAHHHH!

Caroline Bell Altman was born today!!! She is so adorable and I am so excited to have a niece to spoil!

All hallow's eve!!!

Well we carved one pumpkin the year because I waited too late to buy one and all the cheap ones at "Walmart's pumpkin patch" were SOLD OUT!!!!! BUMMER! So I ended up spending darn near close to $20 for one. Hence this is what made up the decision of one pumpkin this year. But it was a great one anyways!

If you know much about Josiah he loves to dance and he loves MICHEAL JACKSON!!! So this year we were guess who..... none other than the "King of pop" himself!! He was super excited and loved the attention. I found a red wind breaker jacket at the Goodwill and put the black "V" on with black duct tape. Then he wore old black pants and a white t-shirt cut to have a V-neck. I found a Micheal Jackson wig and the sparkley glove at a halloween store. So all-in-all it was a pretty easy outfit! Except he wasn't feeling the wig!

Well I hate to say it but my BABY is six!!!! BOO HOO! :*( Why do they have to grow up so fast!! We didn't have a party this year due to the fact of our crazy schedule with football and such, so we just had a cookie cake with the kids in his kindergarten class. Spongebob was our character this year since mommy didn't order one and I couldn't be too choosy! Oh well they loved it regardless!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSIAH!!!

1ST day of KINDERGARTEN!!!!

WOW today is the first day of school already and Josiah is a KINDERGARDENER!!!!! My baby boy is growing up!!!

Scrimmage Game

(Josiah is #3) We had our first football game today it was just a scrimmage but it was still FUN! It was a super HOT day today so I am glad it was a short game, this Florida heat is too much for those little guys!! Looking forward to a great season!!

Malaya's 11th Birthday!!

Malaya turned eleven today!! (: WOW Time is flying!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MALAYA!!

HOT weather COOL treats!!

Josiah's summer vacation he spent swimming and playing with friends at the Martin Luther King Recreation Center summer camp. Mommy worked extra long hours this summer so she wasn't able to spend a lot of time with him and play like I wanted too! ): But the time I did get to spend we enjoyed every part of it!! We loved to visit the local mom and pop icee stand to cool off after a long day of fun and play!! And today we start football practice 4 days a week! JOY!! I love my little man!!

VPK Graduation :*(

Well I am so sad to tell you but my cute little bundle on joy is no longer so little. ): (But he is still soo cute!!) Watching him walk across the stage and get his preschool certificate made me think how fast time would go by and I would be watching my little man graduate from High School. So hard for Mommy's to watch their baby's grow up, but i am so proud of him! Kindergarten here we come!

Moving up ceremony

Josiah had a moving up ceremony on May 21st @ Peck Head Start. To celebrate moving up to Kindergarten. They sung some songs and one of them was the spanish song they learned called, "Pollito Chicken," I was so proud of him!

Mommy's NEW r i d e!!

The exciting event of May is that Mommy got a new ride!! Probably exciting for only me, but thats o.k. since I have never had a car newer than a 1994. So super STOKED about my 2008 Ford Escape!!!

spring B R E A K!!!!!

Spring break started April 2nd and will continue until we return to school on April 12th. I have been enjoying my time off with Josiah as we have went to the beach almost everyday. Cooking out on the grill and these wonderful mild temperatures have been GREAT!!

Easter Sunday

We had a very relaxing day today. We all just sat around the house today. Joe and Josiah colored eggs and I just practiced my photography!!! FUN FUN :)

One more day!!!

Well so much for chicken and rice for dinner, Mom is TIRED!!!! Takeout is definitely in order tonight! Today was an open to close day for me at work. Josiah had a T-ball game today at 5:30, which he didn't attend due to the fact that the uniform was MIA! Joe had softball practice today at 5:30 also, so it worked out well for him. On another note Joe and I rented a movie last night called 'World's greatest Dad' and it was horrible so stir clear of that! Just sayin....

GREEN shepherd's pie?

So I thought that I would try to be a little festive today in honor of St. Patrick's Day. (As I look for any reason to try something unique.) My idea was to make green mashed potatoes! Sounds great right? I just knew Joe and I would be fine with it because its just a little food coloring. So I made my shepherd's pie as usual, one of Joe's favorites, and just added the green mashed potatoes on top. Let me just say, Josiah is the type of child that won't touch any food that is green with a 10ft pole! So this didn't help him ease into Mom's cooking tonight, usually it takes a lot of coaching! :) Needless to say I wasn't a big fan of the green mash either. But I had to play that off too! I even made green milk for Josiah and it tasted funny. Definitely do believe that the way your food looks makes a difference in how it tastes. Unless you are my husband, but he's not hard to please he's just thankful I actually cooked! :) Tomorrow chicken and rice is on the menu! Have a great night!
