1st day of 1st grade!

Wow! My baby is now a first grader! He is in Mrs. Pulsinelli's class this year. I hope we have an awesome year!

Malaya turns 12!

Malaya wanted to go to get sushi for her birthday dinner. We also went clothes and shoe shopping too!

We ate at Perkin's and it just so happened that it was kids night so the kids got to pick a balloon to have made. Malaya picked Tinkerbell and Josiah got a lightsaver sword.

We had a FUN day at Wet-n-Wild!!! But we were definitely worn out!

We played a round of miniature golf, and of coarse Daddy had to CHEAT to win!! LOL

We ended our vacation by seeing Transformers 3 on a 6 story IMAX theatre screen in 3d!! It was awesome!!!

Happy 4th!!!

Today we celebrated the fourth of July with Joe's family, we had a BLAST! Joe cooked ribs, chicken, hotdogs, hamburgers, and there was a ton of sides. After we sat around and fellowshiped, Joe used his Father's day gift for the 1st time and fried some fish!! It was a great time. (: Thank you Lisa and Dolphus for putting together such a great INDEPENDENCE bash!!!

FATHER'S day

Today is Father's day and I am so excited to show my husband how much I appreciate him. We got him a Portable Kahuna XL burner!!! He has been hinting around that he wants a fryer/seafood boil burner WITH adjustable legs!!! LOL well guess what I found one!! Happy Father's day Joe, I love you!

I can't believe my baby is going to be a 1st grader next year! But we are so proud of Josiah he ended the year with all E's for excellent and S's for satisfactory! Thats like getting A/B honor roll!! (:

Mobile visit Summer 2011

My sister Beth and I took a road trip to Mobile, Alabama this past weekend to visit family. My Oma is not well so we wanted to visit her since it has been about 4 years ago since the last time we have been to see her!

We had such a great time in our short 3 day visit. We are so thankful for all Aunt Brenda and Uncle Ron had done for us while we were there. Can't wait to see you all again soon! (We will definitely try and make it back sooner than 4yrs!!)

Thank you Lord for this blessing. This summer I will not be working!! Today is my last day of work, and now I will be spending the summer with my family!

Ervie is SEVEN!!!!

Today is my handsome nephew Ervies 7th birthday!!! I can't believe it has been SEVEN years since he was born! Happy Birthday Ervie, I love you!

Fancy Hat Luncheon :)

Today I had a blast at Mama Francina's annual book club fancy hat luncheon. This was my first year invited and I hope I get the privledge to go next year!

This was the book we read this year:

The book was such a great read! There was so many surprises to me from how beautiful the place was, to the delicous food, and the biggest surprise is that the author of the book was there the whole time! And she was sitting right across the table from me and I didn't even know!!

Church service was great at the Journey Church as usual and we had a egg hunt at Grandma Visser's house. It was a great time for us ladies to fellowship while the boys "hunted."
